What is a Member Assistance Programme?

A Member Assistance Programme (commonly referred to as an EAP for employers and employees) is a mental health service that provides members with access to counselling, wellbeing resources and a confidential helpline supporting a variety of personal and professional issues.

The service offers support to individuals who may be facing challenges such as poor mental health, relationship problems, bereavement or financial stress that is affecting their performance at work, personal lives, or both.

Answered by qualified British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) counsellors who provide in the moment emotional support

Ease of access

Members can also contact the MAP service via live chat, email, online or request a call-back. We provide access in over 200 languages. We offer an inclusive service through translation, Relay and British Sign Language (BSL)
